Newly acquired TE Tim Wright will have spent less than two weeks with the team when the Patriots play the Dolphins next Sunday, but during his short time with the team he is already making a good impression with Josh McDaniels.

According to MassLive.com McDaniels said:

"We just got him, and he was able to come in here and learn enough to be able to go out there and play for us in a preseason game for 40-some snaps or whatever it was,... He's working hard, certainly a bright kid and has some talent that hopefully we can utilize, and he just seems to fit in good and has a good attitude and work ethic. I'm just excited about seeing what we can do going forward."

There is also more reason to be optimistic for Wright’s involvement with the offense. Christopher Price tweeted a quote from #12 himself:

Even Wright himself believes him and Brady are connecting really well. Mike Reiss reported Wright stating:

“We just try to do as much as we can on the side, just trying to get that connection down and trying to get that relationship up,... He’s a great guy on and off the field. I’m really gravitating towards him and I think he’s liking me.”

For all of you fantasy football fanatics out there here is a tip, get Tim Wright on your bench NOW. Most of you have likely drafted already so if there is a player you sort of regret drafting grab Wright on waivers. In my opinion, he may not be a fantasy stud out the gate but he could prove to be reliable fantasy option in a position that doesn’t have a lot of depth. In his one preseason game with the Patriots Wright caught 4 passes for 43 yards.
