Brady says there is a possibility he moves on

The Tom Brady era is going strong in New England, and Brady consistently states that he wants to stay. But there is a possibility he leaves New England if circumstances are out of his control (his words, not mine).

Yes in an interview with Westwood one, Brady stated that if circumstances out of his control arise, it is a possibility that he doesn't finish his career in New England.

"Well everybody’s circumstances are different, and the NFL is very unpredictable. Pro sports in general, they’re all unpredictable. If Michael Jordan could end on another team and if Joe Montana could end on another team and if LeBron James could switch teams, you look at all these phenomenal players that have always switched teams. Now my goal is certainly not to do that, but those things aren’t always in my control. I would like to be here for as long as possible, hopefully through the end of my career. Certainly this year is the only one that matters because that’s the only one we have in front of us and that’s the only one we can do something about. So that’s how I feel about that.”

Now before you start freaking out, know that Brady is in fact happy here in New England, contrary to what reports stated earlier this week.

"I love the Patriots. I always say it. I’ve said it time and time again. There’s no place I’d rather play and there’s no place I’d rather be. I play for the greatest owner and, to me, the greatest coach of all-time. My family is in Boston. We’ve been such a part of this community and we love it. I just want to do the best job I can. I want to do the best job for my teammates, for my coaches, for everybody that supports me. That’s where my focus is and that’s where it always will be.”

These circumstances out of his control that would have Brady leaving are very un-likely. Brady is content, the Patriots are content, and unless Brady decided to lose his ability to play, I don't believe that the Patriots are willing to part ways. For now that is.
