Darrelle Revis pitches shutout during Sunday's game

Jim Davis/Globe Staff

Darrelle Revis had his best game as a Patriot and it came against one of the best wide receiver tandems in the league.

During Sundays big win against the Bears, Revis was targeted 5 times. On those five targets he had one pass breakup, one interception and allowed zero completions.

Revis spent the entire day on the left side of the defense instead of tailing Marshall all game. A few times he covered less dangerous weapons like Santonio Holmes and Josh Morgan. Including a 3rd and 18 late in the first half where Jay Cutler's only option was a checkdown to Matt Forte that didn't get the first down. Revis was on Morgan while the rest of the secondary blanketed Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.

Darrelle Revis on the year has allowed 18 receptions on 36 targets for 283 yards.
