Darrelle Revis says knowledge of Jets is useless

Not so fast, Mr. Revis says.
"I know nothing about them," Revis joked Monday. "I definitely don't."
"There's a lot that has changed," Revis said. "[Brian] Schottenheimer was the coordinator when I was there, so it's different. There is a different coordinator now and they run a totally different offense. Just got into them today, so I'm still going through the game plan and looking at their offense."
Revis has been away from the Jets organization for about a season and a half now, so yes, much has changed. However, Rex Ryan is still the head coach, so there could be a couple things that haven't changed since he left.
If he knows anything, he's not going to disclose it to the public. It wouldn't be unwise to think that someone within the Patriots organization has come to him about whatever Jets knowledge he has.
Phil Perry of CSNNE.com noted that one of the major changes to the Jets is the style of offense they run. Revis spent six seasons with New York, and Brian Schottenheimer was the offensive coordinator for much of his time there. Now, former Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg is running the show, bringing with him a West Coast style of offense.
Make no mistake - Revis will be ready for tomorrow, and so will the rest of the Patriots.
