Devin McCourty: 'I'm a Brady fan'

Patriots safety Devin McCourty was a recent guest on Comcast Sports Net New England's "Quick Slants," and was asked who he thought was the better quarterback between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

"I'm biased, I'm a Tom Brady fan," McCourty joked. "They're both greats for a reason. I think when you talk about guys breaking records, you hope it's guys like that who put in all the work he puts in off the field. He's come back from injury, he's continued to play at a high level for a long time. He definitely deserves that record."

The Brady v. Manning debate is one that will rage on until the end of
time, and there's no real clear cut answer as to who is better. Some will say Manning because of all of the records he holds, and others will say Brady because of his three Super Bowl titles and other accolades.

Both are first ballot Hall-of-Famers without a doubt, but Manning is the center of attention around the NFL at the moment because of his newest record - the most touchdown passes of all time. He currently sits at 510 and will easily add to that for the next few years barring a major injury or an earlier retirement than some expect.

The two will go at it once again at Gillette Stadium next week.
