Will the Patriots make a splash before the trade deadline?

The Jets shook things up trading for the embattled Percy Harvin last week and the Patriots have already made a big trade earlier this season giving up Logan Mankins for the young talented receiving tight end Tim Wright and a 2015 pick. So are the Patriots done making trade moves? Belichick will have until next week Tuesday to decide whether to send someone packing or bring in a new face. Here are a few possible players the Patriots may trade for.

Dane Fletcher - LB: It would be great for the Patriots to add more depth to the linebacker position by going after someone who is already familiar with their system. The Buccaneers look like a team that needs to rebuild in the draft next year and perhaps they would be willing to trade a late round pick. The only two reasons why this trade wouldn't happen is if the Patriots are content with their current crop of linebackers or if the Bucs set a price for Fletcher that is too rich for the Patriots.
Likelihood of trade: High

Zac Stacy - RB: The Patriots were not able to run up the middle at all in their win over the Jets. Jonas Grey may be able to fill the role for now but the Pats could get a steal in Stacy. The "Zac Attack" has been pretty mild so far this season. Stacy has a mere 240 yards rushing and one touchdown, a far cry from his 2013 performance. Given the rise of Tre Mason the Rams may be looking to unload this running back to a willing partner.
Likelihood of trade: Medium

Vincent Jackson - WR: It seems like every year there is always speculation that the Patriots will trade for an aging wide receiver and every year they never make a deal. It is likely that the speculation of a Jackson trade with the Bucs will remain speculation much like the Larry Fitzgerald trade or a possible Andre Johnson trade. There are many reasons why this trade wouldn't occur such as Jackson's contract impacting the cap space and the possibility that the Bucs are still hung over from giving us Tim Wright, Aqib Talib, La-Garret Blount, and essentially Darrelle Revis.
Likelihood of trade: Low

Cordarrelle Patterson - WR: I like the possibility that the Patriots could grab someone who they passed up on the draft. Patterson seems to have a lot of talent that the Vikings have yet to fully utilize. Patterson only has 19 receptions for 213 yards, but perhaps his numbers could jump if he had a future hall of famer like Brady throwing to him? This is a bit of a pipe dream because there is no way the Vikings would be willing to part with a first round pick in his sophomore year. The odds of this trade happening are about as a good as winning the lottery, but a Patriots fan can dream.
Likelihood of trade: Very Low
