LeGarrette Blount reunites with Patriots


According to multiple sources, the Patriots have brought LaGarrette Blount back to New England after being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday. It a 2 year deal worth just $257,647 this year, significantly below the $730k minimum salary for a veteran, the contact is filled with incentives for Blount.

In order to make room for Blount the Patriots have released DT Casey Walker, Walker's snap count went from 45 to 18 to 0 over the last 3 games.



After the Steelers had released the troubled back, it was quickly connected that the Patriots may bring him back after losing Stevan Ridley for the remainder of the season.
