Gronkowski shows off taping skills

Picture this: The beast of the east, commonly referred to as Gronk, graces the practice field in San Diego sporting a taped jersey with a “6” and a “9”. Were thoughts of his 6 year extension and his 9 TD’s this season running through his mind when he chose this fashion statement? We’ll leave that interpretation up to you.

According to sources at the Patriot’s practice in San Diego this week, Gronk was seen with a huge grin on his face asking spectators, “Hey, can you guys tell me what number I’m wearing?” As if we really needed another reason to love this bro-god.

Although much speculation has surrounded Gronkowski as being too much of a party animal, numbers don’t lie. With 9 touch downs to date and over 900 yards this season, it’s safe to say half of the Boston TE Party is back in action. Even when we aren’t seeing that beautiful Brady-Gronk connection, number 87 is playing a huge part in blocking and creating opportunities for other players.

After the tough loss at Lambeau field, a little harmless humor and lightheartedness may have been just what the team needed as we’re *on to San Diego.* All in all, Gronk brings a certain flare to the team that can’t be forgotten. Don’t go changing, Gronk. We love you just the way you are!
