Aaron Dobson's sophomore season appears to be over before it even had a chance to begin. Dobson pulled up lame with an apparent hamstring injury after an attempted deep pass during the loss to Green Bay.

With the injury coming late in the season, Dobson being placed on the season Injured Reserve has been brought up. Now, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Dobson will be placed on Injured Reserve.

Aaron Dobson, who had offseason foot surgery, was surpassed by Brandon Lafell on the depth chart early in the season. He appeared in only four games, catching three passes for 38 yards. Making this season a huge disappointment for the former second round pick who many thought would make the second year leap and become a viable deep threat for Tom Brady. But injuries have stunted his growth and kept him out of the lineup.
