Super-Brady: Ex-Giant turns Tom Brady into a super hero

I mean, we all knew that Brady was a super hero, but now we have confirmation, according to the Boston Herald. Ex-Giant linebacker Israel Idonije started a comic company called Athlitacomics, and he's featuring Tom Brady as part of a series where he creates a super hero persona for a number of quarterbacks. The list also include Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Andrew Luck as comic book characters.

Idonije:

“An athlete is a real hero, whether they like it or not,” Idonije told the Track. “They are the ones people look up to, kids look up to, who I looked up to as a child.”

“Look at Tom Brady. He is one of the best in his business, but like a lot of superheroes, his was not an easy path,” he said. “He was a sixth-round draft pick. He looked frail and weak during his combine. But what people couldn’t measure was his heart, his intelligence, his drive and his work ethic. Those are all things that embody a hero. And from those beginnings he was able to ascend and transform himself into a force. That is the story of a hero.”
