Vince Wilfork tips field goal, gets new nickname in the process

In close games such as Sunday's one point victory over the Jets, you can usually point to one or two plays that made the difference in the game.

The play that changed the outcome in this game? It has to be Vince Wilfork getting just enough of Nick Folks' field goal to prevent a score.

In the minutes right before the game changing play, the Patriots had the ball at their own 19 with a one point lead when, under heavy pressure, Tom Brady threw an interception to set the Jets up with good field position and a chance to retake the league. The defense held them to a field goal attempt that Wilfork just barely got a finger on.

With the block, the Patriots offense took over at the 42 yard line and never gave the ball back, running out the final 5:21 on the clock.

After the game, safety Devin McCourty gave Big Vince a new nickname, "Air Vince". Then he posted a logo to go along with the new nickname.
