Jonathan Casillas has become the second Patriots player to join the New York Giants today. Big Blue signed him to a three-year deal worth $10.5 million. Earlier in the day, the Giants agreed to terms with Shane Vereen. It is now being reported that Vereen's deal is worth $12.35 million over three years.

Casillas was traded from Tampa Bay to New England at the trade deadline last season and become a vital part of the Patriots' special teams game and was also a solid backup linebacker.

He played in 11 games for the defending Super Bowl champions, compiling 28 tackles and forced one fumble.
