The Jets are preparing to woo Darrelle Revis with riches beyond his imagination
Darrelle Revis may have left MetLife Stadium neglected, but his former employers are prepared to grovel at his throne if that's what it takes to bring him back.
Many reports have already indicated that New York Jets owner Woody Johnson wants the team to do whatever they can to bring him back. In typical Jets fashion, this may include offering him way too much money.

Why so desperate? Revis and the Jets have some bad blood.
The only lifeline the Jets may have had was their former coach Rex Ryan. Revis had a lot of respect for Rex.
He's now coach of the Buffalo Bills.
New York refused to pay Revis a big contract two seasons ago, despite his status as their franchise star. At one point, Revis had said that he wanted to retire a Jet. He was promptly traded to the Tampa Bay Buccanneers, released after one season (head coaching/scheme change) and then won a Super Bowl with his first team's biggest rival.
Will all the money in the world trump that?
They say money doesn't buy happiness. The Patriots did not break the bank for Revis last year. He seemed pretty happy with the result.
