The NFLPA revealed transcripts and emails from Tom Brady's appeal last night after Judge Richard Berman ordered that all documents be made available to the public.

The NFL and the Players Association had originally reached a confidentiality agreement until Judge Berman overruled it.

This means that you can read every single word from Brady's appeal hearing, and simultaneously laugh at how ridiculous the NFL looks. Now more than ever, the evidence that warranted Brady's suspension looks ridiculous.

Here are a few of the key points:

First and probably most important, Brady was never told that he'd be punished for not turning over text or emails. Ted Wells confirmed this. That right there should really tell you all you need to know, but that would make too much sense and that doesn't work for the NFL.

However, by Brady not turning over his phone, it caused Wells to question Brady's credibility. So someone who many believe was hired to find the Patriots guilty of something, questions someone else's credibility, even though Brady has the right to not turn over his phone and emails? Yeah...that makes sense.

Moving on, Brady apparently told NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell that the Patriots gave the referees a copy of the PSI rule after the Patriots beat the Jets in October. I'm not sure why the Patriots would do this if Brady and the locker room guys were running some elaborate ball deflation scheme.

Also, Wells seemed to barely remember what he wrote in his report, and kept saying to go back and look at the report he wrote. I think in the back of his mind, even he knows his report is garbage. But what do I know?

You can read everything here.

For once, Brady looked better than the league. These transcripts could potentially help Brady win his court case, but no one really knows what the end results will be.

Brady and Goodell will attend a hearing on Aug. 12 regarding the matter, so we'll see if any shoes drop then.
