NFL conveniently forgets to wish Tom Brady a happy birthday

Tom Brady celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday but apparently the NFL never got the memo.

The NFL's official Twitter handle never wished the four-time Super Bowl champion a happy birthday yesterday, going through all 24-hours of the day without tweeting out a single picture of Brady. Coincidence? Yeah, right.

The NFL did however find time to tweet out a couple links on Broncos QB Peyton Manning, including a #MondayMotivation quote from the five-time NFL MVP talking about his worst enemy: pressure.

Maybe the league has a policy where they don't wish a happy birthday to one of the greatest players to ever play the game and not-so-arguably the greatest quarterback to ever take the field if they're suspended for four-games and currently embroiled in federal court case proceedings.

Or maybe it's the much more simpler answer that the NFL is filled with a bunch of petty, lesser, jealous individuals from top-to-bottom and to everything in between. We'll go with the latter.
