Patriots acquire WR/KR Keshawn Martin from Texans

The Patriots have added some depth to the receiving corps. The team has traded for wide receiver and kick returner Keshawn Martin from the Houston Texans for an undisclosed return.

Martin was a fourth-round draft pick in 2012 who has primarily contributed on special teams. He has amassed 416 yards and three touchdowns over his four-year career.

It's unclear whether Martin will be featured primarily on special teams, in the passing game or both.

UPDATE: The Pats traded a fifth-round pick for Martin and a sixth-round pick.
