Patriots left tackle Nate Solder is done for the season after tearing his right bicep last Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
#Patriots left tackle Nate Solder will miss the rest of the season with a torn right biceps, according to a team source. Surgery upcoming.— Jim McBride (@globejimmcbride) October 14, 2015
Marcus Cannon is the top backup offensive lineman, so there's reason to believe he'll see more time. However, the Patriots continually rotate their offensive line during games, so you can probably expect a lot of different combinations for the rest of the season. Solder was getting abused by Greg Hardy last weekend, and it raised some eyebrows because Solder doesn't get beat clean that many times in a game.
Some had raised questions about the offensive line after last week, and this won;t help anyone with those fears.
