Report: LeGarrette Blount undergoes X-ray for undisclosed injury

In the blink of an eye, injuries have quickly become a concern for the 5-0 Patriots.

Before they took on the Colts on Sunday Night Football, the team saw starters Nate Solder (biceps) and Tarell Brown (foot) placed on IR and lost for the season. Leading into the game, linebacker Dont'a Hightower was declared out due to the rib injury he suffered last week in Dallas. And then during the game itself, the trio of Marcus Cannon (toe), Jabaal Sheard (ankle) and Matthew Slater (undisclosed) all left the game with their own knocks.

And we can add another name to the list: running back LeGarrette Blount.

CSNNE's Mike Giardi tweeted on Monday that Blount required an X-ray for an undisclosed injury, leaving the team to question if he too will miss time in the immediate future.

Blount ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries against Indy, proving yet again that the Colts are his favorite team to play against by far. The need for an X-ray makes us sweat out Blount's status, and we're hoping that something like a small fracture here or there doesn't come up on the machine.
