VIDEO: Top 3 plays from the Patriots' win over the Jets

What a game yesterday. It took a strong effort from Tom Brady and the Patriots to knock off the Jets yesterday at Gillette Stadium. Here are three of the best plays from yesterday.

1. Danny Amendola's touchdown reception puts the Pats up for good

No one came up bigger for the Patriots yesterday than Danny Amendola. Coming off a big performance against the Colts the week prior, Amendola's follow-up performance saw him catch this touchdown pass from Brady to put New England ahead for good.

2. Brady finds Julian Edelman for big third down conversion

The Pats needed a huge play to keep a promising drive alive midway through the fourth quarter, and they got it. Brady hooked up with Julian Edelman for 27 yards on 3rd and 17 to keep the eventual scoring drive alive.

3. Gronk puts the game away for good

After the Patriots got a huge defensive stop, the offense had a chance to put the game away for good. They'd do just that. Brady found Rob Gronkowski, completely uncovered (how people still leave him uncovered on some plays is a total mystery to me) for a touchdown that put the Pats up 30-20.

Honorable mention: Chandler Jones strip-sacks Ryan Fitzpatrick

There weren't a lot of plays that deserve recognition on the defensive side of the ball, but this is one of them. On the second play of the game, Chandler Jones hit Ryan Fitzpatrick from behind, forcing a fumble that was recovered by Dont'a Hightower. The Pats then converted on a Stephen Gostkowski field goal to make it 3-0.
