Village idiot Jason Pierre-Paul resigns with Giants, could make debut against Patriots

The Giants have resigned defensive end and village idiot Jason Pierre-Paul to an incentive-based one-year deal after he blew his right index finger off in a firework incident on the 4th of July this past summer.

According to The Associated Press, Pierre-Paul was cleared by doctors a couple days ago to start playing, and he could make his season debut in Week 10 when the Patriots visit the Meadowlands.

Pierre-Paul had to have his right index finger amputated after the incident, and he also suffered damage to his right thumb.

The Giants aren't sure what kind of impact Pierre-Paul will have, but their thinking is that it'll be better than what they've had to this point. New York has the 31st worst pass defense in the NFL and they've given up 2018 yards through the air.

Despite that, the Giants are 4-3 and are in first place in a brutally bad NFC East.
