Chandler Jones is trying to improve his Madden rating

Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones leads the NFL in sacks with 9.5, and is on pace to break his record of 11.5 sacks he set in 2013. Jones has been an absolute force on the defensive line for New England this year, something everyone around here can feel good about.

Per Jimmy Toscano of Comcast Sportsnet New England:

It feels good, it feels good," Jones said. "As long as it's helping our team win, hopefully I can go out and do that every week and as a team go out there and put good stuff on film and even maybe intimate our next week's opponent. We try to put good things on film each and every week so that's what we did for sure today."

Jones also went on to say he takes pride in playing for the Patriots and his coaches. He also wants to get a better rating in Madden.

“I leave all of that to the critics honestly," Jones said. "Whether people talk about me or not, at the end of the day I’m playing for my team. I’m playing for the Patriots logo on my chest, my teammates, the coaches, and I’m also trying to get my Madden rating up.”

Jones is looking to become just the fourth Patriot to record multiple double-digit sack seasons. The others are Tony McGee and Andre Tippett with three, and Garin Veras with two.
