Marcus Mariota shows admiration for Tom Brady

Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota has quickly made a name for himself at the professional level. The former Oregon Ducks star has thrown for 2,786 yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in his first pro season despite his team having a 3-10 record.

The other quarterback in this game, you know, Tom Brady, is a guy that Mariota wants to be like.

“The amount of success that he’s had and myself included there are lot of young guys that would like to emulate what he’s been able to do,” said Mariota. “I would hope that later on in my future I can do some of the stuff he’s been able to do.”

Though his professional resume doesn't have much on it right now, Mariota is a proven winner and is regarded as one of the best dual threats in NCAA history. The second overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft won the Heisman Trophy last year and is one of four FBS quarterbacks to throw for over 10,000 yards and rush for another 2,000.
