Giants cut Brandon Meriweather

The New York Giants have released former Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather.

This season, Meriweather recorded 53 tackles (38 solo) seven passes defended and two interceptions. He joined the team on Aug. 16 and played in 11 games for the Giants before missing the previous two with a knee injury.

Here's a video of Meriweather finally doing something good for the Patriots, aka running into his own teammate to allow Rob Gronkowski to score in the Patriots-Giants match up from last month at MetLife Stadium.
