Patriots send another fan favorite runningback to the waiver wire
With Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount both lost for the season, the Patriots were scrambling to find a starting runningback a few weeks ago.
Enter unknown Joey Iosefa in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans.
Joey Iosefa is a 247 pound fullback for the Patriots who will truck stick anything and everything in his way.

With plays like the above, Iosefa quickly became a fan favorite, though just as quickly he has been dumped by the team.
The Patriots announced yesterday that Iosefa has been released.
Boston Herald:
The Patriots released Joey Iosefa this afternoon, 10 days after he was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
The team will likely attempt to squeeze him back onto the practice squad, but his services are no longer needed with newcoming veteran Steven Jackson joining the team this past week. In somewhat limited opportunities, Jackson looked good in the team's loss to the Jets. Good enough for the team to feel comfortable releasing Iosefa anyway.
