Jackson last played in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons in 2014 and played under Josh McDaniels when the two were with the St. Louis Rams.
Source says #Patriots meeting today with RB Steven Jackson based on mutual interest. Pats need a RB and Jackson played for OC Josh McDaniels— Ed Werder (@Edwerderespn) December 16, 2015
We'll have more on this as it develops.
