Terrell Owens wants to join the Patriots

Free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, once regarded as one of the best at his position in the late 90's and for most of the 2000's, is itching to play in the NFL again. Specifically, he wants to play for the Patriots.

He never officially retired, but he's been out of the league since 2012, when the Seahawks cut him in the preseason. In his career, Owens played for the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills and Bengals.

Just my two cents, but I find it incredibly unlikely the Patriots would explore Owens as a possibility at this point. He's 41 years old and hasn't played in three years. But the thought of it is entertaining when you consider Owens' personality.
