Unnamed Denver pass rusher: 'I tried to rub my nuts in [Brady's] face'

It seems that the Denver Broncos can't win against the Patriots and move on from it right away. One unnamed Broncos pass rusher had this to say about hitting Tom Brady:

“I tried to lay on him a few times,” said one Broncos rusher after the game. “I tried to rub my nuts on his face.”

The Broncos' win over New England in the AFC Championship Game sent non-Patriots supporters into a frenzy, because, you know, people seem to get more excited watching the Patriots lose rather than watching whatever team they root for win.

Brady was rocked all game long and the offensive line failed him miserably, as they have multiple times this year. In all, Brady absorbed 23 hits, the most he has been hit in a single game this year.

“Brady had to know who we had on this line,” said rush linebacker Shaquil Barrett, “and he knew his line wasn’t very good coming into that game, so he had to expect this.

The firing of offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo marks the first offensive line domino to fall. What happens next is anyone's guess, but the play of that line was one of the biggest reasons the Patriots lost on Sunday. Given Brady's age and the amount of times he was hit this year, the Patriots can't afford to endure shaky play from the guys who are supposed to be protecting him for another full season.
