Mississippi State pays tribute to Patriots
The University of Mass is set to kick off on Saturday at Gillette Stadium against Mississippi State. But the away team may look eerily familiar to the team that plays there on Sundays.
Mississippi State unveiled new jerseys for their trip north this weekend. Although they kept their traditional colors of maroon and white, the new uniforms have some distinct similarities with the New England Patriots. To start with the numbers are in the exact font that is on the Patriots jerseys. Also, the stripe on the shoulder is very familiar, with the only difference being the color. The new helmets they debuted have the same metallic silver color as the Patriots helmets too.
