Rest and rehab.
That's what New England Patriots' wide receiver Chris Hogan has been directed to do.
The Patriots' receiver corps caught a break with this one, as Hogan will be able to avoid surgery, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. He will rest and rehabilitate, and the team will reevaluate the situation after the bye week.

Hogan hurt his shoulder in the Patriots' 21-13 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. After his fifth catch of the day, the receiver exited the game and was later seen with his arm in a sling.
Hogan is tied with tight end Rob Gronkowski in touchdowns this season, with five each. Over the first eight games, Hogan has 33 catches and 438 yards.
