Pats sign old friend Jonathan Freeny

According to multiple reports, Jonathan Freeny is back with the Patriots.

The Patriots re-signed LB Jonathan Freeny, per source.

Freeny spent 2015 and 2016 with New England before signing with the Ravens. He played in only three games with Baltimore and only recorded two tackles. He will take Rob Gronkowski's spot on the roster.
