Gisele apparently tried to get Jay Feely to convince Tom Brady to retire

Gisele Bundchen really wants Tom Brady to stop playing football and she makes no bones about it.

A Sports Illustrated piece that came out yesterday reported that while on vacation, Bundchen tried to get Brady's friend Jay Feely to talk him into retirement. It obviously didn't work.

SI:

Last spring Brady and his family vacationed with retired kicker Jay Feely, a close friend from their college days at Michigan. This being Brady, Feely prefers not to disclose the locale, but he does share that Brady’s wife, the supermodel Gisele Bündchen, spent time on that trip “trying to get me to convince [Tom] to stop playing.” And, Feely adds, “‘she was dead serious.’”

Feely says he looked at his friend and told him, “Play as long as you can.” Brady smiled back and winked.

Brady is still playing at a high level and has said many times he plans on playing until his mid-40s. This also isn't the first time Gisele has talked about Brady retiring. Before the season started, she went on CBS News and said Brady has suffered from concussions at different points in his career and has tried to talk him into retiring herself.

That obviously didn't work either.

It's very, very unlikely, but there are some rumblings out there that Brady could retire after the Super Bowl if New England wins it. While he pretty much has nothing left to prove, winning a sixth Super Bowl would make him one of the greatest athletes across all sports if he isn't considered one of them already.
