Josh McDaniels may soon be working for pill head Jim Irsay.

Reports are that McDaniels will accept an offer to become the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts once the Patriots' season is over. There was a thought that McDaniels might go to Tennessee after Mike Mularkey was let go, but the indication is McDaniels is a lock to go to Indy.

McDaniels is in his second stint as Patriots' offensive coordinator. He left in 2009 to become the head coach of the Denver Broncos, lasted two years there and wound up in St. Louis for a year as their offensive coordinator only to return to the Patriots just before their Super Bowl loss to the Giants in 2011-12.

New England is also expected to lose defensive coordinator Matt Patricia to the Lions.
