Dion Lewis goes off on Patriots after beating them

For running back Dion Lewis, this game was personal.

The former New England Patriot and current Tennessee Titan went off on his old employer after handing them an embarrassing blowout loss yesterday.

“It’s a real sweet win,” Lewis said. “Especially when you used to be there, and they didn’t want to bring you back. Definitely real sweet.”

After finishing with 1,110 total yards of offense in 2017, the Patriots let him walk in free agency; and that hasn’t sat well with the six-year veteran as he had some choice words for his former team after yesterday’s game.

“Hell yeah, it’s personal. When you go cheap, you get your ass kicked.”

He even took to Twitter afterwards to get in one final dig at the Patriots for the day.

The 28-year-old rushed 20 times for 57 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards in the Titan’s 34-10 victory over the Patriots.
