The importance of Rob Gronkowski's health just got even more important.

Tight end Dwayne Allen will reportedly miss a couple of weeks with a knee injury he suffered during the Patriots 34-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans. He will not need surgery.

Allen has been the lead tight end in Gronk's absence and serves more as a blocker than a pass catcher, but he did catch a pass in his last two games. The good news is the Patriots expect Gronk back next week when the Patriots travel to the Meadowlands to play the Jets.
