Returns of Shaq Mason and Trent Brown will boost Patriots’ offense

The New England Patriots’ bye week may have come at a great time.

With yesterday's news of Rob Gronkowski’s possible return happening this Sunday against the New York Jets, the Patriots could also get back two offensive linemen.

Shaq Mason has missed two games with a calf injury, while Trent Brown left the game against the Titans with a back injury; but recent reports are pointing toward the two being back sooner than later.

Mason says he “definitely” planned to practice this week, while also claiming that he’s ready to go “whenever they let me,” while Brown will hopefully be good to go this coming Sunday.

Upon the two players’ returns, New England would have their Opening Day offensive line back – Brown, Joe Thuney, David Andrews, Mason and Marcus Cannon. Add that with the return of Gronk and the Patriots’ offense should have the missing parts they need to become a dominating force once again.
