Tom Brady has a heartfelt message for David Ortiz

The sports world was shaken up after hearing that David Ortiz, aka Big Papi, was injured in a shooting in the Dominican Republic on Sunday night.

Among the many professional athletes that wished the longtime Red Sox player a speedy recovery was New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady.

Brady took to Twitter on Monday to say some kind words and posted a picture of him and Ortiz shaking hands at Fenway Park on Opening Day in April of 2015.


As of Monday Night, Ortiz was reportedly back in Boston. The medical team there and the doctors in the Dominican Republic confirmed that his condition is still serious, but that he was stable enough to be transported back to the states for continued care and recovery.
