Gronk tells Drew Brees he's "coming back," but no one knows what that means

Will he retire or won’t he? That is the question.

A clip from Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards is making its way across social media platforms that doesn’t exactly help Rob Gronkowski’s retirement case. In fact, it only fuels the fire that the tight end could be returning to the NFL.

While talking with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Gronk says to him, “Yeah, I’m coming back” before letting out a high-pitched laugh.


We have no context as to what the two were talking about before or after this moment. Gronk could have just been joking about the whole situation. Whatever it means, it’s got fans on the edge of their seats, eager to see what happens with the tight end when it gets closer to the season.
