Patriots players lead Pro Bowl catagories

The New England Patriots are having a pretty good year. Not just as a team, but various individuals have played good football this season. Three Patriots players lead their position in the Pro Bowl voting at the moment: Tight End Rob Gronkowski, Guard Logan Mankins and Linebacker Jerod Mayo.

Gronk was having a terrific year for the Pats, with over 700 yards and 10 touchdowns, before he suffered a broken forearm against the Indianapolis Colts.

Mankins has been fighting off injuries throughout 2012, but he has been as solid as ever when on the field. I think this one might be based on him being a big name.

Mayo is getting some good recognition for his play this season. He has been a tackle machine, and a big factor in the Patriots improved run defense, and he has led the unit well as a captain.

Tom Brady, if you were wondering, isn't leading his position in voting... He's behind (somehow) some guy called Peyton, who I believe came to Foxboro and got beat earlier on in the season. Still, Brady is second overall in voting, so he shouldn't be too disheartened... Get your votes in here!
