The Jaguars claim Jason Babin



Oh well. It was fun to think about!

Jason Babin would've, in theory, given the Patriots quality depth with Chandler Jones injured and Jermaine Cunningham suspended. It was also said on twitter that Justin Francis (Who the Hell is Justin Francis, you ask?)had a noticeable limp in the locker room, we'll see what the injury report says.

The Patriots apparently did not put a claim on Babin, according to Tom E Curran, meaning they probably would've waited until he cleared waivers to attempt to sign him, if at all.

Babin was owed around $1.64 million for the rest of the season. That amount of money for five games made some people think teams would stay away. That didn't turn out to be the case as the Jaguars got him!

I suppose he can help them coast into another playoff-less season. He must be pumped.
