Ed Reed wants to have babies with Bill Belichick, yeah he's signing here

I will go on record right now and predict that Ed Reed will be wearing a Patriots jersey next season. It's just a matter of time. He needs to get done with this whole Super Bowl thing this year, so he can get back to it next year.

I'm not the first one to guarantee this either. Peter King of Sports Illustrated (it's a magazine!) said the same thing before the Pro Bowl. That got very little press though because, well, nobody watches the Pro Bowl.

Ed Reed was asked about playing for the Patriots today, his response? Very telling.

PFT:
“Yeah, oh yeah man,” said Reed, per the Boston Herald. “I could definitely play for coach Belichick. He is a great coach. I’m sure he can help me to expand my football knowledge even more as a player and as a coach, so if I’m ever able to be around him, just like I was at the Pro Bowl, it’s huge.

“It’s the reason why I wear my sweater cut off a little bit. He’s the first guy I saw like, ‘That’s cool.’ You know, that’s cool. He cuts those sweater sleeves, and he’ll be comfortable.”

That might be the first person I've heard say they've used Bill Belichick as a fashion role model. That's how deep the respect runs.

If you've ever heard Bill Belichick asked about Ed Reed, a love fest ensues. (EXAMPLES HERE) It's pretty obvious that there is a mutual respect here.

If Ed Reed doesn't return to the Ravens or, you know, retire. I'd say New England is at the top of his list. And why wouldn't it be? We'd be happy to have you.
