Houston columnist tweets Patriots are chokers, guarantees Texans win

The Patriots and Texans will square off at Gillette Stadium in the divisional round. This is, of course, the rematch of a 42-14 beatdown by New England back on December 10th.

There hasn't been a whole lot of trash talk going back and forth between the players on the Patriots or Texans.

In the media? Different story.

One Texas writer chose to unleash pretty much all the ammunition on the Patriots on twitter. Everything from "choking" to spy gate, it goes on and on.

This of course comes after Dan Shaugnessy's jinx column in the Boston Globe claiming that the Texans were "terrible" and the Pats had a first round bye.

Anyway, this columnist in Texas had a whole lot of things to say in a similar tone about the Patriots. Here's a compilation of some of the hardest hitters.

He also had a column, which CultofBelichick tears apart here.

Yeah, the Texans haven't had a "romp" since October...

So what do you call losing three of four and blowing the number one seed in the AFC then?

Since 2004: 7 AFC East championships, 2 AFC championships, 16-0 season, Tom Brady: 2 league MVPs, first ever unanimous MVP, record of 98-33, broke receiving TD record, passing TD record, tight end TD record, become both number 1 and 2 in most points scored in league history, best turnover differential in the NFL since 2009, etc. etc. etc.

Yeah cause I guess appearing in the Super Bowl is easy to do.

Brandon Lloyd vs Texans on December 10th: seven catches, 89 yards, 1 touchdown.

ok....
