Ed Reed hires agent popular amongst Patriots, but rumored to be heading to SF

For the second time today, a player's choice of agent is being cited as having implications for the Patriots. Earlier, we heard the the Patriots were interested in Victor Cruz. But Cruz recently hired Tom Condon as his agent, who the Patriots have not got along with in the past.

At this hour, it is being reported that Ed Reed has hired David Dunn as his agent. Dunn, according to BostonHerald writer Jeff Howe, has a history with the Patriots:

While I'm sure this news made some Pats fans giddy, it is being reported that Reed may be following his Super Bowl teammate Anquan Boldin to San Francisco (they are going to be scary good), to replace Dashon Goldson at the safety spot.

It seems like the past three days there has been a new big name rumor every twenty minutes. I get the sense that a lot of these rumors don't have a ton of credibility, and I don't think Ed Reed's choice of agent has much to do with him coming to New England.
