Ed Reed would have won two Super Bowls for the Patriots
Hey Ed Reed: Stop teasing us Patriots fans. You know everyone wants you to come here and shore up our porous secondary. But quit with the back and fourth. First prior to the Super Bowl you said you basically wanted to have babies with Bill Belichick, statements you have since backpedaled on, stating that you intend to remain a Raven.
If that didn't sting enough, you had to throw some salt in the wounds by stating that if you had been in the secondary during the Patriot's two Super Bowls against the Giants, TB would have been hositing those trophies, not that bobble-headed freak Eli Manning. That's a sore subject Ed, and you know it. I didn't leave my dorm room for a fucking week after the perfect season went down the drain. I survived off Goldfish and Kool-Aid. There is just no need for a comment like that.
Here is the exact quote from BostonHerald.com when Reed was asked what he thought the outcome of the latest Pats-Giants Super Bowl would have been if he was on the field.
If Ed was back there would David Tyree have been able to pin the ball against his helmet? Would he have completed that nutty sideline pass to Manningham to seal the second Super Bowl? Would Reed's presence have prevented the Giants from winning altogether? Maybe. But there is no definitive way to say that now. Those losses will just always be open wounds for Patriots nation, until they get one or two more.
But Ed, if the Ravens don't call you, there's still a home for you here in Foxborough. I ain't that mad at ya.

''They win two (Super Bowls). At the Super Bowl, I was asked if I would play for Coach Belichick and my answer was: 'What player wouldn't play for Coach Belichick?' He is a good football coah, has a great mind for football. I met Coach Belichick at a Pro Bowl. He is a great guy, a great competitor and seems to understand his players. I was just asked the quesion at the time (but ) I am a Raven, plan on being a Raven. I couldn't see myself anywhere else, but if it happens, I am a football player. I can adapt to any situation.''
