Gronkowski and Bruschi up for Madden cover
Some things are more important than Free Agency. One of those things is Madden - maybe. The New England Patriots have two contenders for the position, Rob Gronkowski and Tedy Bruschi - yes, Tedy Bruschi.
As the tweet helpfully explains, for the 25th anniversary of the Madden games, they're going to either have an "old school player" or a "new school player" on the cover. Which is kind of cool, though Reggie Wayne is considered old school... Most teams have one candidate from both the old and new school.
How are their chances? Well, I don't fancy Bruschi, despite the Patriots large fan base. He's the 11th seed, and in round one he faces Marcus Allen, and if he gets through that he probably goes against Barry Sanders, then probably Ray Lewis. Yikes.
Gronk's odds are better. He faces Antonio Brown in round one, followed by either Jamaal Charles or Darrelle Revis (who?), then probably Adrian Peterson, which is where he probably gets knocked out.
Well, that's that, vote here and then you can go back to worrying over Wes Welker...
