Aaron Hernandez to be arrested in connection with homicide

The off-season for Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez just got a whole lot worse.

After a body was found less than a mile from Hernandez's house in North Attleboro, MA, and a rental car registered to Hernandez was found near by, police have been in and around his house since Tuesday night.

We've heard all along that Hernandez was not a suspect, but now it appears he will be arrested by police.

A report from Fox 25 last night puts Hernandez in direct connection to the crime. The report said that Hernandez was driving the murder victim (Odin Lloyd) along with some other friends back to North Attleboro from a bar in Boston. However, Lloyd was the only one that did not return to Hernandez's home.

Reports from Sports Illustrated have said that Hernandez was trying to distance himself from associates he grew up with in Bristol, CT - just a few hours away from North Attleboro. NFL teams were scared away from Hernandez in the draft because of the gang affiliations of these friends.

Hernandez is also being sued by a former associate who claims the tight end shot him in the face down in Florida. Whether that's true or not, the accuser has an extensive criminal background, implying that Hernandez has been hanging with the wrong crowd.

Fox25 reported that the murder of Odin Lloyd in North Attleboro was likely drug related.

UPDATE: Hernandez was followed by a Fox25 chopper as he drove a white audi suv (yep) to Gillette stadium. He entered the stadium and hasn't left. Not sure where that leaves the whole arrest thing.

UPDATE:
Hernandez is driving around Boston right now. Two conflicting reports on the arrest, from the same company.
