Kraft told Brady to keep wearing knee brace

The 'Tom Brady Knee Scare of 2013' has now come and gone. After this injury scare in which Brady appeared to have hurt the same knee that he had in 2008, the Patriots QB squashed all worries when he and the offense torched the Buccaneers defense that same week. However, team owner Robert Kraft is taking no precautions, insisting that Brady continue to wear a heavy-duty knee brace:
"I had (the brace on) today. Everyone was very pleased," Brady said Monday, per the team's official website. "Kraft felt pretty strongly about me wearing it. He said, 'What's the problem?' I said 'I'll wear it, I'll wear it.' "

Not too surprising considering the fate of the team's season rests on Brady's shoulders. Kraft is not only a businessman protecting his investment, but a humble and caring owner concerned about his team and favorite player's success. As for Brady, he admitted some immediate fear:

"It's a little scary when you go down, but that's the sport," Brady said. "I'm certainly not the first or the last to have it happen. I'm fortunate that it wasn't very bad. ... After what happened to me in 2008, I love coming out to practice and playing. Nothing is as exciting as that for me."

Everything played out as well as the Patriots and their fans could have hoped for; Brady is healthy and continues to play at an extremely high level *knock on wood*. Wearing the brace may help most Pats fans have a little more peace of mind so I see no problem with TB12 wearing one, as it clearly is not affecting his play.
