The quick takeaways from the Patriots 23-3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were: The Pats defense could be this teams biggest strength, Tom Brady doesn't need to send the Bat-Signal for Brandon Lloyd, the rookie wideouts may be a work in progress, but they are talented and Greg Schiano will not be confused with Vince Lombardi anytime soon.

It was a solid effort all-around as the Pats move to their first 3-0 start since 2007 - the year they finished 16-0.
