Gronk's surgery "went really well"

If agent Drew Rosenhaus is to believed, Rob Gronkowski's knee surgery was a success yesterday.
Of course, this is all par for the course so far. The next time we hear an initial report that a star athlete's surgery was "botched" will be the first. Still, this is good news.

Gronk will now set out on the long road of recovery and rehab. With training camp about six and half months from now, the All Pro tight end will likely start the 2014 season on the Physically Unable to Perform list. It remains to be seen if Gordy (Gronk's father) once again plays a role in tensions with the team over the timetable for Gronk's return to the field.
