C.J Fiedorowicz visits Patriots

C.J Fiedorowicz, a top propsect at the tight end position in the upcoming draft, visited with the Patriots on Wednesday. He has also reportedly worked out for the Jets, Buccaneers, and Lions.

Fiedorowicz, who is 6'5", 265 lbs., is considered one of the top players at his position for this draft, behind North Carolina's Eric Ebron and Texas A&M's Jace Amaro. During three seasons at Iowa, Fiedorowicz reeled in 91 catches for 899 yards and 10 touchdowns.

With reports emerging this week that Rob Gronkowski plans on "taking his time" before returning, tight end is an immediate need that needs to be filled for the Patriots. Michael Hoomanawanui and D.J Williams are the only tight ends on the roster currently along with Gronk, and unfortunately, that ain't going to cut it. Fiedorowicz, who is projected as an early second round pick, is a name to keep an eye on for the Patriots on draft night.
