McCourty says defense likes making Brady mad

Everyone gets angry at times. Even the three time Super Bowl winning, married to a supermodel, most likely greatest of all time being, living the perfect life, Tom Brady. Brady has been known to shoutout players at practice when routes aren't run properly, when interceptions are thrown, and just generally when the defense gets the best of the offense.

But while Brady maybe upset, the defense are thrilled. Devin McCourty loves seeing Tom upset:
“Yeah, if we turn on the film and see him throw a ball into the ground or slam a helmet, that means we had a good day."

“If (the Patriots offense) has a bad day, Tom’s mad in the locker room. That’s one good thing that I love about being on this team since I’ve gotten here. It’s always been that competitive edge where both sides of the ball through the spring and through training camp and until we start playing other teams, it’s offense verses defense and neither side wants to give. It’s really competitive, and that’s how you get better as a team.”

This tension between O and D is good, it keeps players competitive during the long months of camp and ready to hit someone else come the NFL season.

Lets just hope that this defense makes opposing Quarterbacks just as mad as it makes Brady.
